All change at TDC

It seems there has been a good few noses put out of joint following the news that Clive Hart has become the new leader of Thanet Council, personally I wish him all the best in what will be a difficult period of leadership with further cuts to the Thanet budget to come over the next year.

I'm sure the new leader and his team will do the best for not only Cliftonville and Margate but the whole of Thanet.

The independents have the power though!

And the snake in the grass, Worrow, has the most power. Fancy having to try to run a council dependent on a turncoat like that one. I think poor old Clive needs more than luck

Mr Worrow must have been deeply concerned with the failings of the previous tory council leadership to walk away, their refusal to take part in discussions with Labour councillors even though they did not have a majority was a factor, the new leader Clive Hart has already stated "I will work to make Thanet Council a more listening council that carries out genuine consultation when necessary".
